How can I configure Internet Explorer (IE) settings for DVR/NVR viewing?

First properly configure your DVR/NVR through IP address then open your Internet Explorer and open the URL with a IP address that you provided to your DVR/NVR but you are not able to view because you must need to add the IP address of the DVR/NVR to “Trusted Sites” and “Compatibility View Settings”and also Enable the ActiveX controls. as shown in following screenshot.


- To add compatibility view setting please follow the following steps.
  1. Navigate in Internet Explorer to the site you are trying to access.
  2. Press the Alt key to display the menu bar.
  3. Click the Tools menu and choose Compatibility View Settings.
  4. In the field for Add this website, you will see the domain, that is, the last part of the website address, such as the DVR’s IP
  5. Click Add.
- To add to Trusted Sites please follow the following steps.
  1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools, click Internet Options, and then click the Security tab.
  2. In the Select a Web content zone to specify its current security settings box, click Trusted Sites, and then click Sites.
  3. Click to clear the Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone check box.
  4. In the ‘Add this Web site to the zone box’, type the DVR’s IP address, and then click Add.
  5. Lower the “Security Level for this Zone” to low (it’s the vertical bar with the slider)
  6. Click OK two times to accept the changes and return to Internet Explorer.
