What is Sysprep, When and How to use Sysprep...?
Sysprep is the Microsoft system preparation tool used by system administrators often during the automated deployment of Windows Server based operating systems. Sysprep is most frequently used in virtualized environments to prepare a system image which will be cloned multiple times.
Typically, a system administrator creates a template for a system build and customizes the operating system to their requirements. During the build process, the Operating System allocates the server with a unique SID (System Identifier). Each time you clone the system image/template, you will also clone the SID.
In a Microsoft Windows Server network, duplicate SIDs can cause problems. Issues such as WSUS incompatability, Volume Licence key activation problems as well errors in Microsoft Office products. Other non Microsoft products such as Citrix do not work correctly on environments with duplidated SID.
Sysprep.exe is located in the %WINDIR%\system32\sysprep directory on all Windows installations.
As Per Microsoft Sysprep provides the following features:
The end result is a System template that functions as a new unique build every time it is deployed.

- Uninstalls PC-specific drivers from the Windows image.
- Prepares the PC for delivery to a customer by setting the PC to boot to OOBE.
- Allows you to add answer file (unattend) settings to an existing installation.
The end result is a System template that functions as a new unique build every time it is deployed.

How to display fake CPU configuration (change i3 to i5,i7,i9 ).....?
Hi Guys,
It looks to be a bit odd but it’s correct that you can really alter the name of the processor you are using in your system. In this post i will deploy an elementary prank via which you will alter the name of your processor from Core i3 to Core i7/i9.
Please follow the steps below as i mention.
1. On Windows, press Windows button and R, it would open up the run and type regedit

1. On Windows, press Windows button and R, it would open up the run and type regedit
2. Now, Registry Editor will be showed.Paste the below Path or you can follow the path as below and go to
- SecondLevelDataCache and modify Hexadecimal value data from 0 to 512.
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
4. Again paste the below file path as in step 2 and go to
- ProcessorNameString and modify the Value data as you want.
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\CentralProcessor
5. Now you are able to change to the fake CPU configuration. In the example i have changed my i5 processor to i9 as below. :)
Note: It's just for Prank. Please do not use this technique for cheating.

Failed to deploy VM: postNFCdata failed when deploying AlienVault to VMware ESXi 6.5
I have tried various browsers, including Edge, Chrome and Firefox but the error existed on all of them. I had no problem uploading the OVA file to the datastore but VMware just refused to import the damned OVA to a VM. I even asked nicely!
The Solution
There appears to be a few solutions but the one that worked for me was to use the VMware OVFTool to import the OVA file from the command line. Here’s the working command line.
1. Download Vmware OVF tool from its website and install.
https://www.vmware.com/support/developer/ovf/
2. If you istall OVF tool in C drive then,
i. cd C:\
ii. cd "Program Files"
iii. cd VMware
iv. cd "VMware OVF Tool"
3. Then for export VMware as this syntax
ovftool vi://username:password@vCenter1/Datacenter1/vm/SourceVM OVF.ovf
Eg. ovftool.exe vi://192.168.1.200/Test_Dev "W:TestOVF"
Now its ask Esxi username and password type root user and password then continue to export ovf.
Note: The Special Characters used in the esxi password are not supported so have to convert them to respective hex value followed by % using below link.
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios/12_4/cfg_fund/command/reference/cfnapph.html
4. After exporting the VMware you can import to another esxi with the below syntax.
Eg.
vftool.exe -ds=NAS_DATASTORE1 -nw="UAT" -dm=thin -n=Test_Dev "W:\NewOVF\Test_Dev\Test_Dev.ovf" vi://192.168.200.104
Hope this may help.

Configuring windows 10 as KMS server an activating other win 10 clients
Installing a KMS host key on a computer running
Windows 10 allows you to activate other computers running Windows 10
against this KMS host and earlier versions of the client operating system, such
as Windows 8.1 or Windows 7.
Configure KMS
in Windows 10
- Open an elevated command prompt.
- Enter one of the following commands.
- To install a KMS key, type slmgr.vbs /ipk <KmsKey>.
- To activate online, type slmgr.vbs /ato.
- To activate by using the telephone, type slui.exe 4.
- After activating the KMS key, restart the Software Protection Service.
Now the KMS Server is configured successfully you can
activate your windows 10/8 Client using the following Command
- Run> CMD (Run As Administrator)
- Slmgr.vbs /dlv (Check KMS_Client Channel info, if not follow another steps shown below).
- Slmgr.vbs /skms <Server IP> (to register KMS Server at client).
- Slmgr.vbs /ato (to activate Client)
- Slmgr.vbs /ipk <Convert Key> (to convert to KMS_Client Channel)
- Slmgr.vbs /skms < Server IP> (to register KMS Server at client)
- Slmgr.vbs /ato (to activate Client)

Difference between VM Network and VMkernel Network(Always confusing)
The main difference between VM Network and VM Kernel Network is their purpose.
VM port Groups are used only to connect Virtual machines to Virtual Switches.Primarily these can be layer 2 Switches which only need a tagging such as vLAN tagging to make sure that the Virtual machines communicate in between themselves, communicate in between the hosts, communicate to the internet etc. With VM Port groups, you can have policies such as Security,Traffic Shaping,NIC Teaming etc.
VMkernel ports are used to connect the VMkernel to services that it controls. There can be many vmkernel ports however there is only one vmkernel. Hence the vmkernel ports can be differentiated based on the service it connects the vmkernel to. The services might be vmotion,SCSI binding,Management of the ESXi or Fault tolerant.

Laptop Processor Comparison: Which CPU Is Right For You?
A computer's processor is its brain,
the component where most of the "thinking" happens. A faster CPU
(central processing unit) lets you crunch spreadsheets, surf web pages, play
games or edit photos faster, but a higher-wattage processor may also give you
worse battery life.
Most laptops today are powered by
an Intel CPU, though there are several models that use AMD processors. Even if
you only look at Intel's lineup, there are more than two dozen different models
you might see featured in a brand new notebook. Fortunately, learning the
basics isn’t too difficult.
The first word in the processor name is
the brand, which is usually "Intel Core" but may also be labeled as
Xeon, Celeron, Pentium or Atom. There's also "AMD Ryzen" and
"AMD FX." Following the brand, you see the brand modifier, which is
most often i3, i5 or i7 but can also be other letters and numbers such as m5,
x5, E or N.
On Intel processors, the first number
after the hyphen is the generation indicator; the latest generation is the 9th
so the very newest CPUs have an 9 here. However, many laptops that are
currently for sale haven't been updated to the latest platform yet and will
still have a 7 (for 7th Gen) in the model number.
Then you'll probably see some
combination of a two or three digit number and a single letter which is
probably U, Y, H (also H or HK). The numbers indicate that particular SKU and
the letters indicate the processor line. The line is extremely important
because it tells you roughly how much wattage this processor needs.
On AMD processors, the numbers and
names aren't quite as straightforward. The company's new Ryzen Mobile CPUs are
named Ryzen 5, which competes with Core i5 U series and Ryzen 7, which competes
with Intel's Core i7 U series.
Some of the Famous Personal Purpose CPU
